Weaving

During Maori Whaea Francis showed us how to weave. She told us a story about when Maori people lived in the forests they weaved flax to make bags(kete), rope and they made mats. It was tricky at first but after a few tries I weaved my mat.(Dictated to the teacher)

Film Festival

We went to Sylvia Park to the Film Festival. We had senior children as buddies to help look after us and take care of us. I watched many movies made by students. Our class made a movie called " Give a Little Love" I was a back up presenter just in case on of our class presenters got sick.My favourite movie was"Girls don't fart."It was really funny.(Dictated to the teacher)
